Whether you are a buyer or a seller, Kris McAulay brings a depth of knowledge and skill in navigating through the entire real estate process.  Kris has over 20 years in the real estate industry. She was general manager and owner of Preserve Homes and Land, Inc. for a number of years.  In this role, together with her team, she was responsible for $73.5 million in sales. Kris later moved to Carmel Realty Company and continued her successful, focused representation of buyers and sellers at The Preserve. The total sales volume Kris either facilitated, managed or brokered within the private gated community of the Santa Lucia Preserve is over $260 million.

Kris's real estate experience in CA started at the Santa Lucia Preserve with the on-site brokerage managing the office and handling all contracts.  She then took over many responsibilities outside of real estate office like the private club membership sales process and assisting other departments within the Preserve in an effort to help maintain a seamless experience for both buyers and sellers. Over time Kris's responsibilities also included managing a sales team, supervising agents, driving lead generation/tracking, marketing, advertising (creative design to negotiating rates, managing and tracking campaigns), touring, working extensively with both buyers and sellers and steadily maintaining 40-60 team listings.

Her deep experience across many areas of life at The Preserve greatly benefits both buyers and sellers. She has a greater level of understanding of the real estate process than most and the drive to get the best result for her clients.

Kris is a strong communicator who builds long lasting trusted relationships.  She is a trained and experienced mediator (divorce/child custody/victim-offender) and Counselor. Together with her strong negotiating skills, she is often able to assist buyers and sellers in reaching favorable outcomes otherwise missed.

When Kris is not working, she can usually be found communing with nature either in or near the ocean or hiking the mountains. Kris started outrigger canoe paddling in 2017 to face her fear of water and has been paddling and racing competitively in the coastal waters of California and Hawaii, ever since.
